Michael and Katharine have been married for nearly 30 years. As their two children are no longer at home, they are thinking of some dream projects.
For the first time in over twenty years, Michael and Katharine have the house to themselves for most of the year; their younger son is at University and the other is travelling abroad. Of course, they miss the children, but are enjoying their independence! As a thirtieth anniversary present to themselves, they want to make some changes to the house they have talked about for years.
Giving an old home a fresh feel, removing everything unwanted and restoring a sense of order.
Over many years, their busy house in Surrey has become jam-packed with clutter, from children’s toys and outgrown sport kits to Michael’s collection of 1970s vinyl records. Michael and Katharine know they have to sort out what’s already in the house before they start on their dream projects. Katharine looks up home sorting services on the internet, finds Good Sorts and decides to get in touch.

Michael and Katharine know they have to sort out what’s already in the house before they start on their dream projects. Katharine looks up home sorting services on the internet, finds Good Sorts and decides to get in touch.
She arranges an initial visit and gives them a detailed brief of their requirements. Good Sorts puts together a plan starting a few weeks later, systematically working through each room in the house so Michael and Katharine don’t have to rush their decisions. There are ‘Mini Sorts’ in each of the children’s rooms, so they can make decisions easily when they are back for Easter. After clearing out and simplifying the house, it finally feels truly ‘grown up’ and ready for their renovations to begin.
